President Marva B. Johnson Shares 100-Day Action Plan
Greetings, Rattlers!
As I enter my second month at the helm of our esteemed institution, I am deeply honored to share with you a framework of how I will focus my efforts during the first 100 days of my administration. As the 13th president of Florida A&M University, my mission is clear: to preserve and protect our proud legacy while advancing the institution to new heights of “Excellence with Caring.”
In this document, I outline five key pillars that are guiding the early days of my leadership. Following thoughtful discussions with our faculty, students, alumni and leadership team—both before and after my arrival—we identified priority areas that will allow us to achieve meaningful impact quickly. These pillars are:
- Assuring student success and enhancing the student experience
- Advancing excellence and innovation in our curriculum
- Supporting world-class faculty and staff
- Strengthening partnerships
- Positioning the University for the future
