MAITLAND, Fla. — CrossMarc Services announced that Vice President of Sales and Leasing Flavia Kanyago has been recognized by the Central Florida Commercial Association of Realtors (CFCAR) as a recipient of its 2026 Developing Leader Award.
Kanyago, a FAMU alumna, has been with CrossMarc Services for four years, said the recognition reflects the mentors, colleagues and communities that have supported her journey throughout her career in commercial real estate.
"This CFCAR recognition is a reminder of the power of community and the importance
of paying it forward," said Kanyago, who hold a degree in business administration
and marketing from FAMU’s SBI. "I am proud to be part of an industry that values mentorship,
leadership and service, and I look forward to continuing to contribute, support others
and give back."
John Crossman, founder and president of CrossMarc Services, said Kanyago exemplifies the firm's commitment to leadership and service.
"Flavia continues to make an incredible impact on our company and throughout the commercial real estate industry with her leadership at CrossMarc Services and her clients,” he said. “At the same time Flavia is committed to mentoring future professionals within CRE organizations including ICSC, and through initiatives such as the Crossman Career Builders/Real Estate Endowed Scholarship. She is making a difference and is truly deserving of this recognition."
The Developing Leader Award recognizes professionals who not only excel in their careers but also invest in strengthening the commercial real estate profession through leadership, collaboration and community engagement. For Kanyago, the honor serves as both a milestone and motivation to continue helping shape the next generation of industry leaders.
