Florida A&M University’s Essential Theatre will present Echoes of the Heart: A Musical Revue, an emotionally driven musical production conceived by Ryan Pettaway and directed by Jae Edwards. The revue brings together powerful vocal performances and storytelling to explore themes of love, vulnerability, and human connection.
Echoes of the Heart weaves together music and narrative to reflect shared emotional experiences, offering audiences an intimate and engaging theatrical experience. The production highlights the artistic range and creative expression of FAMU student performers while reinforcing the Essential Theatre’s commitment to impactful storytelling.
“This production creates space for audiences to reflect on their own emotional journeys through music,” said Jae Edwards, director of Echoes of the Heart. “Each piece speaks to moments of the heart that are both deeply personal and universally shared.”
