FAMU Extends Fall Deposit Window for Florida Residents to August 14

Every year, students and families do everything asked of them and still find the door closing for reasons of paperwork and timing rather than merit or will. At Florida A&M University, we do not believe opportunity should close faster than a family can reach it.

So, we are holding ours open to any Florida student previously admitted to Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. If you applied to us once and chose elsewhere, your file is still here. We will reactivate it on your word alone — no new application, no second fee. If we already admitted you, we will work to reinstate that offer the same week. Students we admitted who did not submit an enrollment deposit now have until Friday, August 14.

While we will work to accommodate your enrollment, please understand that our residence halls are full. Any student who enrolls in this extended window will need off-campus housing and we will do our best to help you find it.
