ORLANDO, Fla. – Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Law is proud to announce that six third-year students have earned membership in the George C. Young American Inn of Court, an esteemed legal organization dedicated to mentorship, professionalism, and advancing the practice of law.
For these future attorneys, acceptance into the Inn represents more than an accolade, it is an opportunity to learn directly from judges and seasoned attorneys while forging relationships that will help shape their careers. Each student brings a unique passion and area of interest to the legal profession:
The American Inns of Court organization brings together local attorneys, judges and law students monthly from September-June, to engage in discussions on ethics, professionalism, and best practices in the legal field.
The George C. Young American Inn of Court, which accepts members by invitation only, includes approximately 120 to 130 participants annually, ranging from first-year attorneys to senior members of the bar, along with state and federal judges.
As these FAMU Law students begin this new chapter, they carry forward the University’s proud tradition of excellence, service, and leadership into the broader legal community.
